CALL FOR NOMINATIONS
YSAC BOARD OF TRUSTEES

Your arts community needs you! Yellow Springs Arts Council functions through the active participation of its members, who are supporters and artists of all artistic disciplines. We promote and advocate for arts and cultural offerings through program coordination, community partnerships, and services.

There are three (3) open Board seats with 1,2,and 3 years commitment. YSAC Board of Trustees members have a regular monthly meeting on the 4th Monday of the month at 6:00 p.m. Meetings may be in person or often via zoom. Time commitment varies per month (3-4 hours). Trustees work together and with staff on YSAC programs, projects, and services.

Membership is for the community and all members are eligible to nominate candidates to the YSAC Board of Trustees. See deadline and requirement details in the right column.  Nominees will be reviewed by the Board Nominating Committee per the YSAC Constitution, Article 5, Section 1(b): “The Nominating Committee shall propose to the board, in advance of the annual meeting, nominations for open board seats. The board shall vote to accept the final slate of candidates for member vote.”

Election Day will be on the last day of Members’ Show on Sunday, March 10th, 2024. All voting will be in person at the YSAC Gallery.
