Amy Blount Achor's photographic art takes the photographic medium into another dimension. She is most well-known for her "Vision Quest" images, symmetrical photo-compositions constructed from a single photograph. Each work represents a spiritual journey into the natural world, and is as much about “inner vision” as outer vision. While the natural elements are clear in much of her work, other pieces are more abstract. This is especially true of her mandala series. Achor’s work in various forms – cards, magnets, wall art, etc. – is available from Village Artisans in Yellow Springs.
