Busking
Musicians are able to busk around town for tips.
Please be careful of your sound levels. If you are loud enough to be heard inside the stores, you compete with the stores music and tend to irritate the shop owners.
If you want to busk during a festival you need to ask permission of the fair coordinators. Village Artisans puts on Art on the Lawn and they encourage musicians busking.
Yellow Springs Arts Council
Arts Council hires musicians for art events and gallery receptions.
Also you can be added to their list of musicians for other venues to check into for their musical needs.

String Orchestra for adults and high school students that meets Tuesdays 7-8:30 p.m. in the Yellow Springs Senior Center’s great room. Players of moderate to advanced levels are welcome.
